Well it has finally happened. One of my kids has contracted the chicken pox. None of my kids have had them, not even Tirz or Em. Silas has mad it through but poor Tirz is right in the thick of it. The other girls have not shown any signs … yet.

Oh, Lis, I'm so sorry. I'll be one to say that it's good that it happened now, rather than even later, but Tirz, Em, and Si are all pretty old to be getting it. Kei was 10 when she got it (when all 5 of the older kids did...I was pregs with Eej) and she got hit really hard.

So sorry. What a tough time to come down with the poxies.

OH NO !!! We will pray..I was there when the Engstroms got taken down by the pox.....I should have gotten the shirt that said "I survived the Engstrom POX"
