Senior Recital

One of my best friends, Hillary, had her senior recital last night. It was a lot of fun! She played beautifully. She also played with her band for church.

Britty sang Amazing grace while me and Hillary play together.

And after the recital the guys took the sound equipment down and loaded back up.

By the way another one of my good friend's, Ian, took most of the pictures for me. So a big thanks to him:)

The faces
The traces
Of sad lonely days

The smiles
The wiles
Fake laughter, decay

Confusion
Delusion
Where can the truth lay?

The hum drum
Has become
What makes up the day

Instead of
What could have
Taken it's place

Deceit fills
The lie kills
What can I say?

A funny Picture

I love this picture. I didn't take it though. A friend of mine did while he was holding my purse. It just makes me laugh.

Track meet

The Boy's last track meet of the year.

Poor Ian didn't get to run the relay race. As you can see he was disapointed.

This was taken after the track meet in Costco. Ian took it without me or allie knowing using a mirror. Clever, clever

BBQ RULES

We are about to enter the summer and BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity, as it's the only type of cooking a 'real' man will do .......... probably because there is an element of danger involved.
When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:
Routine ..
(1) The woman buys the food. (2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert. (3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand.
Here comes the important part:
(4) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.
More routine....
(5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery. (6) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he deals with the situation.
Important again:
(7) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.
More routine....
(8) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table. (9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.
And most important of all: (10) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts. (11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed 'her night off.' And, upon s eeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women....

Spring Walk

Baseball

During a friends baseball game some of my friends and family played some baseball of their own. It was pretty fun to just watch and take pics. "No pictures please"



Run Home!!! If you look you can see blood running down her leg, but she didn't seem to notice and Dad just said "Ah, It'll be ok. It's just a scratch, it'll heal." After a while we got her to go wash it off at least:P

Ian+camera=laughs

Now this was on the ride home with all my friends. They asked, as you can see Ian here, to play with my camera so these are a small portion of what Ian took. I only took the first one and the last one:P

He took more pictures of out side but i think the ones of himself and sam are much funnier so I posted more of those.
